Napoli have made a bid for Palermo and Italy full-back Balzaretti, but the player is hesitant.
“There are two problems with Balzaretti’s move. The first is that Alessandro Moggi is his agent, so we never know what he really wants to do. The second is that his wife and child live in Paris.
“He was clear that he wants either Palermo or PSG and I respect his reasoning. If he doesn’t arrive, then we could sign a youngster.”
